The Books of Daniel and 2 Esdras (4 Ezra) predicted that 2042 is the year Jesus will return to Earth to conclude the 6000 years of our human era, and to usher in the 1000 years of peace on Earth. There are at least twelve equations to determine the year 2042: two equations found in the Book of 2 Esdras and ten equations found in the Book of Daniel.
Prophet Ezra wrote the book 2 Esdras around 2500 years ago, in which angel Uriel disclosed great amounts of information about the end of the world. He told Ezra to write 94 books and to make known to the general public the first 24 books; but the final 70 books must be given to the wise among his people, who will be able to understand the apocalyptic visions contained in these last books. Chapters 10 and 14 in the Book of 2 Esdras (RSV or GNTD version) contain two equations revealing 2042 as the final year of humanity on Earth.Basically, angel Uriel revealed that there were 3000 years from the birth of Adam to the time King Solomon completed the first temple in 959 BC. Using biblical genealogies, one can calculate and verify that there are exactly 3000 years from the time God created Adam to the time King Solomon completed the Temple in 959 BC as illustrated in Section 3.11. As a result, Adam was created in the year 3959 BC, 3000 years before 959 BC (3000 years + 959 BC = 3959 BC), and the 6000 years will end exactly in 2042 as calculated below.
Calculation 1: 3959 BC + 6000 years = -3959 + 6000 + 1 = 2042 AD.
Calculation 2: 959 BC + 3000 years = -959 + 3000 + 1= 2042 AD.
So, the year 2042 also marks the end of the second 3000-year period from the time of the first temple (959 BC) to the time of the final temple (2042), not built by men but by God. Figure 1 illustrates Ezra's 7000-year cycle from Adam to the end, including the Millenium Kingdom of God on Earth.Angel Uriel also revealed to Ezra that the Earth will reach 12000 years old exactly in 2042: The first 6000 years cover the 6 days of creation, and the second 6000 years cover the era of men on Earth. We will discuss the accuracy of this prophecy using the tree-ring records (Dendrochronology) presented in Section 3.12.
Over 100 years earlier, God also revealed to the prophet Daniel a similar timeline for the year 2042, but with extra details recorded in the Book of Daniel. The entire book centers around the 70-week prophecy: 69 short weeks and 1 long week. The 69 short weeks make up the first part of the 1 long week which spans the entire 2485-year length of the prophecy from 444 BC to 2042. There are twelve individual equations in this book to calculate the final year 2042, and the 2485-year length of the prophecy. During the course of the prophecy, seven appointed events would occur exactly in the year that God had appointed for each event. These seven thundering events are probably the seven thunders that the Angel asked John to seal up, as mentioned in Revelation 10:4. Each event had its own appointed year and its own equation according to the description and the number of years that God had appointed for. In addition, the combination of these equations also generates a master equation, or the God's Equation, which pinpoints the exact length of the prophecy and the exact calendar year for each event to occur according to the schedules that God had appointed for each event. Figure 3 in the book presents the timeline of the 70-Week Prophecy and shows how the master equation was derived from Daniels' numbers of days or actual years.
No one on Earth can do this except God. He saw the future and programmed these appointed years and the durations in the equations so that the last and smartest generations can solve these equations and believe in Him. Note that numbers don't lie, and the math is God's prophetic language.
