Islamic Psychology (IP) has recently emerged as a distinct discipline, as evidenced by the establishment of IP programs worldwide. This edited volume provides a comprehensive overview of well-established IP programs in English, serving as a valuable resource for students, clinicians, and academics interested in these programs' content. It can also serve as an excellent reference for introducing new IP programs or for enhancing existing ones. Additionally, the book establishes a foundational framework for research in this growing field. The guide covers 20 IP programs, each authored by its respective program leader. It demonstrates how different programs and courses address and train individuals to meet the clinical and spiritual needs of Muslim clients, particularly in the area of mental health. The book highlights opportunities for prospective students to enroll in mostly online programs and offers insights for those interested in the discipline for personal growth and self-awareness. Currently, no other book encompasses the IP curricula of various universities or examines the associated challenges and potential solutions. In our multicultural world, this book is essential for understanding and appreciating the needs and practices of the second-largest faith community globally, and for examining how various IP programs are addressing these issues.
