The Academic Library of the Chinese National Academy of Arts: Absence and Contingent Being is divided into three main parts. The first part discusses issues in Western philosophy and aesthetics, as well as comparative studies of Chinese and Western thought. Most of the articles in this section attempt to examine several fundamental concepts in philosophy and aesthetics from the perspective of "modern problems." The second part addresses issues in environmental ethics and ecological politics, exploring the origins, propositions, and limits of political rationality within ecological ideology. The third part consists of criticism of contemporary Chinese art. Several of the articles in this section are preliminary results of the author's ongoing research project, "Symptom: An Archive of Contemporary Chinese Art."
《中国艺术研究院学术文库：缺席与偶在》主要分为三编，第一编讨论西方哲学与美学问题，兼及中西思想比较。其中多数文章试图把哲学和美学的若干基本观念放在"现代问题"的视野中加以考察；第二编讨论环境伦理学与生态政治问题，探究生态主义意识形态的缘起、主张及政治合理性限度。第三编是中国当代艺术批评。其中多篇是作者正在从事的"症状--中国当代艺术档案"研究计划的初步成果。
