In this story, Mabus Antônio recounts the tale of an unusual romance between an intraterrestrial visitor named Antiópia and a human man named Cícero. Hailing from a hidden civilization within the Earth's interior-a remnant of a highly advanced society that migrated to the planet's core millennia ago following a nuclear cataclysm-Antiópia was sent to the surface to investigate humanity's current state, as her people sought to prevent our world from repeating the mistakes of the past. While on the surface, she blended into the population of a South American country and enrolled in a university, where she formed connections with others. She regularly sent reports to her superiors, but near the end of her mission, she met Cícero-a fellow student-and, as if by fate, fell in love with him. What was she to do now, on the verge of returning to her true home? Would she pursue this love and remain on the surface? If she told Cícero the truth, would he understand?
