She was overly-confident in the American people in her assumption that Mr. Trump would be recognized for misogynist, self-serving spewer of hatred that he is in reality.
Unfortunately, she badly underestimated the power of Mr. Trump's message and overestimated the intelligence of an informed electorate. Thus, we have the sad result of the 2016 election and the political albatross that continues to haunt the American political landscape.
