This is a lavishly illustrated survey of Barcelona's most exciting and innovative contemporary architectural projects. Since the early 1990's, Barcelona has been undergoing a complete makeover in terms of architectural aesthetics. The 1992 Olympic Games brought an infinite number of constructions that transformed the capital of Modernism. Thus, the predominance of works by Gaudi gave way to the proliferation of city-planning changes and buildings designed by the biggest foreign and domestic names in architecture.
