In this portfolio, I sought to emphasize the importance for the coach of distinguishing between the framework and the process in coaching. It is up to the coach to articulate the tension between the framework-which presupposes the notion of closure-and the process-which, on the contrary, suggests the notion of openness-in order to raise issues and engage in a dialectical exchange with the coachee. To date, the work in this portfolio has allowed me to demonstrate how a coach, when faced with the unexpected in a given situation, can break away from established protocols, routines, and go beyond them, drawing on specific practical knowledge, skills, and tricks-that is, the ingenuity of the moment-which combine the ability to seize the opportunity, known as Kairos intelligence, and the cunning known as Metis thinking, to inspire and support the coachee in charting their own path toward the new. The reflection presented in this portfolio, based on what I've learned from this training, has allowed me to better understand the coaching profession and to reveal my identity as a coach.
