It is a small and compact novel of the trauma of total memory loss, of the power of friendship and the other frontiers of love. It has a subtle political flavour throughout. Blind horizon successfully highlights in very subtle ways several relevant aberrations of present day Nigeria. Some of the themes enclosed in the manuscript include the fate of fatal accident victims who are generally allowed to die for several reasons which include the question of hospitalization fee and dread of legal implications and security complications to the doctors as a consequence of the death. Also, the question of hospitality to strangers, the right of sickle cell sufferers and the mental anguish of political activism are explored.
