Due to the United States (US) failed economic aid packages and the War on Drugs, Bolivia has become increasingly anti-US. This anti-US philosophy is growing among Latin American nations, and these nations are forming alliances. Specifically, Venezuela and Bolivia are solidifying their relationship to the detriment of US relations. If the US does not act soon to strengthen relations with Bolivia, this forgotten southern neighbor will be lost to anti-US alignments. Through current periodical research and collection, Bolivian history and formation of a democratic state lead to discussion of the current administration.
