Bring the Peace Along, the third iteration of the Spilled Ink Poetry group is another offering with some familiar poets and some debut authors, bringing their voices in this new volume. After their previous releases, When You Hand a Poet a Microphone and their very first collection, Sharing the Light, in 2023, Prince William County Virginia, Spilled Ink Poets Circle community rides and rises, again.
This collection of over 30+ poems captures the extraordinary lived experiences with the day to day observations of seemingly quiet, life happenings, e.g. observations on the epilogue of living whilst aging in Seasons of Life, by Kinney, or about coming to a place of peace from war, poverty, protecting children and mothers from the ugliness of devastation in the titled poem Bring the Peace Along by Nicolay.
Each poem has it's own subject, some short, some long, describing in colorful detail for all of us, daily life in a creative but profound way.
Each poem offers a time for questioning, reflecting and deep thought.
