Cache: Delta is the first in a series of books that will focus on exhaustive preparation BEFORE an EMP. A group of very wealthy ex-military known as the 'Collective' has contracted a former US Navy Admiral to develop a civilian version of the governments' Continuity-Of-Government preparations.
Plagued by rising military tensions and fueled by skyrocketing civil unrest post the Covid Pandemic of 2020, the thinking is that only a global reset will prevent other rogue nations from selectively crippling the United States. Their only perceived option is to strike first.
This small Prepper's community is funded with an unlimited budget and designed as a campground/recreational facility in good times, which can switch gears in short order and harden into a post-SHTF Command Center for its Core Group of members.
What most members of the community do not realize is the Collective knows exactly when the EMP will occur... their plot involves a global First Strike.
Cache Delta is one of the first four such communities being situated around the east coast of the US. It spans a three year period prior to the "Trigger Event" which is designed to reset the world population. The Cache Delta community of Preppers is fully prepared to start over, but few will know in advance the extent of the preparations. Subsequent books will dive into their continued life after SHTF as well as bringing in subplots from Cache Omega, Bravo and Charlie.
