Cameron left his evening class, headed to his car, and was about to unlock the door when someone slammed into him. He looked down to see a young lady scrambling to get up. For some reason, she looked panic-stricken.
"Please move, you are going to make me miss the last bus to the regional rail."
"I'm sorry, but you slammed into me." She looked as if she were about to cry, which made matters even worse. "No, I missed the bus. I don't have a way to get to the train, so I'll have to wait an hour for my father.
After introducing himself, Cameron offered her a ride home since she lived three blocks from him and his parents. The one thing that kept going through his mind as he drove home was why he felt something he couldn't name while in her presence. He would most assuredly speak with his father when he got home.
As for Cynthia, she was also fighting a battle she knew nothing about inside. Little did these two know that those battles would be won after the many challenges they faced.
