"The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) is a policy research and decision-making advisory institution that directly serves the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. Over the years, it has conducted long-term research on issues of overall, comprehensive, forward-looking, and strategic importance in China's economic and social development, as well as its reform and opening-up. Since 2023, the DRC has pooled its collective intellectual resources to launch the annual China Development Report, which chronicles the extraordinary journey of the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, in advancing Chinese modernization. The report also features a selection of the Center's research findings on major issues concerning China's development, serving as a reference for domestic and international readers interested in understanding and studying China's development.
China Development Report 2025 documents the intellectual, institutional, and practical achievements made in 2024 in the pursuit of Chinese modernization. It includes four important research outcomes of the DRC: Accelerating the Cultivation of New Drivers of Demand in Six Key Areas, A Study on the Future Development Potential of China's Service Industry, Understanding and Recommendations on Cultivating and Strengthening China's Embodied AI Industry, and Unlocking the Development Potential of the Low-Altitude Economy. These works reflect the Center's renewed understanding and fresh thinking on China's development.
国务院发展研究中心是直接服务于党中央、国务院的政策研究和决策咨询机构，长期研究经济社会发展和改革开放中的全局性、综合性、前瞻性、战略性问题。国务院发展研究中心从2023年开始，汇聚集体智慧，推出年度《中国发展报告》，记录中国共产党领导人民推进中国式现代化的非凡历程，收录中心关于中国发展重大问题的若干研究成果，为关注和研究中国发展的国内外人士提供参考。
《中国发展报告2025》记录了2024年推进中国式现代化进程中所形成的思想成果、制度成果、实践成果，并收录了《加快激发六大需求新动能》《关于中国服务业未来发展潜力的研究》《对培育壮大中国具身智能产业的认识与建议》《释放低空经济发展潜力》4项国务院发展研究中心的重要研究成果。
