Teljes leírás

Polly Fairwold was an unambitious woman from southwest London with a fondness for cider. Now she's the long-prophesied "Holy Prophet" of Overthere, a violet-skied planet where nobody dies without permission and every crisis is met with a committee and a biscuit.
The Compassionate Ones insist that Donald, the alien she followed across space, is dead. Polly hears otherwise.
As she trains in the Enchanted Forest with the winged Shemen of the Rock, she learns that Overthere is held together by a fragile harmony called Sonostasis. Beneath the city, the M3000, the machine that tore open the deadly Dimension of Doom, is stirring again. Back on Earth, the sky is starting to peel.
Polly has a battered book that talks back, a brother she can't forgive, and no idea what a prophet is supposed to do. Saving two worlds will take courage, a lot of tea, and a very particular kind of listening.
Funny, tender and wonderfully strange, CHIPS is the sequel to POTATO and the second book in the Everything From Nothing series.
