Some people find their calling. David Sintay keeps finding another job.

From teaching music and baking cookies to making dog treats and training managers, David has discovered that every workplace offers something valuable: material.

Chronically Employed is a collection of bite-sized stories about earning a living, surviving adulthood, and defending questionable decisions to a wife who knows better. A pizza pickup at the wrong restaurant? Professional baking skills undermined by forgetting the sugar? It's all part of the experience.

With self-deprecating humor and affection for the people who make life interesting, David finds laughter between long shifts, family moments, and plans that seemed perfectly reasonable at the time.

For anyone who has ever needed a paycheck-and a sense of humor.
