The story follows a girl named Alice who, while chasing a white rabbit with a pocket watch that can talk, falls down a rabbit hole into a magical wonderland. There, she encounters all sorts of wondrous things - eating a piece of cake makes her grow into a giant; drinking a cup of water makes her shrink; strange and peculiar animal races take place; and different sides of the same mushroom make her grow larger on one side and smaller on the other. She also meets a variety of curious characters: a rabbit with gentlemanly manners, a cook who absolutely loves sprinkling pepper, a snobbish and vulgar Duchess, a arrogant and brutal Queen of Hearts, her obedient card soldiers, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare who host the tea party, and of course, the magical Cheshire Cat... Everything is so wonderfully strange...
