This book summarizes a contribution to the field of automatic Arabic speech recognition. The first part of this work details the creation of a speech corpus, complete with its textual transcription, for training the recognition system. In the second part, an evaluation of the automatic Arabic speech recognition rate using this corpus is presented. A significant improvement in the recognition rate was observed.
