Divided into the following - Rat, Crow, Spider, Toad - Danse takes the reader on a visual tour of darkness that has nestled itself into the heart of these despicable beings, whose stories have never been heard by human ears.

Hated, loathed, and seen as lesser, rats have always been subjected to the condescending eye of the world as being inferior. However, much death and carnage shall come to follow the birth of one rat who repudiates such claims towards his existence. Under the self appointed title of "the Rat King", his infamy would come to singlehandedly fashion a new esteem for all his kin alike, and prove that not even the gods can snuff out a perilous soul.
