The mid-placed compression ring cable-supported grid structure is suitable for large-span building roofs such as stadiums and football fields. This book introduces the development, classification, and research status of cable-supported grid structures. Using the Shanghai Pudong Football Stadium (now known as SAIC Pudong Football Stadium) project as the engineering background, it systematically analyzes the form-finding, static and dynamic performance, overall stability, key joints, refined construction simulation, and error effects of the mid-placed compression ring cable-supported grid structure.
