Bomb calorimeter measures the calorie value of the coal, Benzoic acid. First we make (1gm) pellet of the coal in the pellet press apparatus, by the pressure. Now in the digital bomb calorimeter note the initial temperature after this set zero by the adjust button now switch move in the rise the temperature and give the fire by the fire switch. After some time temperature become rise and in the few second temperature become constant at that time pellet burning completely. Now note the constant temperature and calculate the standard value of the coal and by this calculate the Cv of the coal.
