The cavern smells terrible. Brindle blames the fungus, sulfur, and old animal hides. Dur Dur-Dur knows the real problem: everyone else's nose is misbehaving.
Deep inside the mountain, the party meets Merrick, an exhausted shapeshifter whose dangerous change cycle is approaching. He urges them to leave immediately-but Dur Dur-Dur has discovered Merrick's magnificent couch made from bones, hides, and suspiciously comfortable cushions.
Dur Dur-Dur is in a mood of couches.
After Merrick desperately gives him the couch, Dur Dur-Dur dismantles it and straps every piece to his back. The enormous bundle completely blocks his vision, which becomes a serious problem when a shaggy creature begins stalking the party. Every warning makes Dur Dur-Dur turn-and every turn sends the couch crashing into their mysterious attacker.
A 24-page black-and-white fantasy-comedy manga filled with supernatural trouble, accidental victories, questionable furniture, and Dur Dur-Dur's uniquely friendly logic.
