Human activities and development focusing on economic growth have an adverse impact on natural and inhabited environment day after day. In this book, all aspects of environment and the associated problems are presented along with solutions proposed to achieve an harmonic co-existence of man and natural life as well as sustainable development. It is evident today that the various components of environment are interconnected to each other and so interrelated that any attempt to speak for any environmental sector as if in a tube is meaningless. For example, presenting the greenhouse effect without fully developing the matters of energy is useless. In this book, the implications of these interconnections are discussed in detail, whereas all aspects of environment and the associated problems are presented along with solutions proposed to achieve an harmonic co-existence of man and natural life as well as sustainable development.
