This book is a compilation of the speeches given during my time as First Lady to the churches that my husband pastored over the years. It is a brief history of the occasions and times when the speeches and essays were given. This book also consists of writings about my family or experiences that I had as a way to keep them "alive" in my mind and heart. I am grateful to God for the words He gave me to pen the thoughts, and to express my prayer which was always: "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." (Psalm 19:14)
