When retired troublemakers Arty McAllister, Cecil Handle, and Bernard Thompson roll into the Florida Everglades aboard their aging Winnebago, the Rolling Thunder, they expect little more than fishing, sunshine, and questionable diner food.
Instead, they discover a bizarre chain of events involving glowing pickled eggs, mysterious UFO sightings, missing methane reserves, and a growing army of unusually organized raccoons.
As strange lights appear over the swamp and gravity itself begins malfunctioning, Bernard uncovers evidence of a secret Martian operation hidden beneath the Everglades. The aliens are attempting to harvest massive quantities of methane to restart a failing reactor on a hidden lunar base. Unfortunately for everyone involved, their plans collide with Florida wildlife, eccentric locals, rebellious raccoons, and three stubborn geezers who refuse to mind their own business.
Soon the state is plunged into chaos. Lawn chairs float into the sky. Alligators drift sideways. UFO enthusiasts flood the swamp. A disco-themed flying saucer appears over the Everglades. And somewhere beneath it all, a dimensional catastrophe threatens both Earth and the Moon.
To stop an interplanetary disaster, the geezers must survive exploding inventions, alien machinery, flaming methane eruptions, and one final showdown involving violet eggs, ham radios, and the largest UFO ever seen over Florida.
Can three retirees save the world one more time?
Or will Florida finally become too weird-even for them?
