In the textbook new trends in science development, mainly in global studies are observed, focusing on the study of global processes and systems and their synergistic-systemic phenomenon, global development. Global trend of science is considered in the perspective of transition to new safer forms of civilization and its interaction with nature, the transition to sustainable development and formation of the sphere of mind (noosphere). Great attention is paid to methods and approaches used in globalistics, especially evolutionary approach, as well as space-time extension of subject field of global studies. Attention is focused on the evolution of globalistics itself, including such areas as the development of political and legal globalistics, information globalistics, cosmoglobalistics, futuroglobalistics and nooglobalistics.
