The book investigates the topic of the globalisation of the arts and concerns brought about by the advent of post-colonial theory. As Dr. Anita Seppä suggests, there exists a vast number of contemporary artists who are not merely attempting to describe, but also to re-imagine and rewrite the historical and present norms and models that limit and guide our sense of location, borders, memory, and belonging in the globalising world.
