Flowers have entranced artists with their gorgeous colours and delicate beauty since time immemorial. This wonderful collection of colour plates contains work from artists of the 16th and 17th centuries such as Jan Breughal the Elder and Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder, 18th-century masters like Herman Henstenburgh and Willem van Leen, and later painters including Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Pierre-Joseph Redouté, Henri Fantin-Latour as well as Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cezanne. In a different style are wonderful examples from China and Japan from the same period.

Each artwork is accompanied by a line art drawing for you to colour. You can emulate the colours and effects of the masters or use them as inspiration for an entirely different approach to floral art.
