The acclaimed biography by Jeffrey Robinson, previously published as Rainier and Grace, now revised and updated to coincide with the major motion picture starring Nicole Kidman as Princess Grace. It was one of the most famous romances of the 20th century - Europe's most eligible bachelor, Prince Rainier of Monaco, and America's most beautiful movie star, the Academy Award-winning actress Grace Kelly, fell in love against the backdrop of the closest thing the modern world has to a magical kingdom, the French Riviera's Principality of Monaco. Told with affection and humor, and written with the unprecedented cooperation of Prince Rainier III and his children, Prince Albert, Princess Caroline, and Princess Stephanie, Grace of Monaco takes readers beneath the surface glitz and the glamour of Monte Carlo for a never-to-be- forgotten portrait of the House of Grimaldi. The upcoming film Grace of Monaco is directed by Olivier Dahan (La Vie En Rose) and written by Arash Amel, whose script for the film was included in the 2011 Black List of the most liked unproduced Hollywood screenplays. Starring Academy Award Winner Nicole Kidman as Grace, Tim Roth as Prince Rainier, and Academy Award Nominee Frank Langella as Father Francis Tucker, it is slated for wide release March 14, 2014. AUTHOR CONNECTIONS: As a resident of Monaco for many years, Jeffrey Robinson w as a p ersonal friend of the Grimaldi family, possessing exclusive o pportunities to interview the whole family. PREFACE BY NICOLE KIDMAN: Academy A ward winner Nicole Kidman, star of the film, will co ntribute a preface to the book.
