We often fight with our self because we do know who we are, but there is growth in learning who our personal self is, allowing us to not only become closer to our character's Influence, but also to every other mind experiencing our exquisitely complex nature.
The author, in this ode to his mind, creatively reviews his personal struggle to define, re-educate, and manage his inward person.
