How We Started
Pause Button Ministries exists for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ alone. Based in the Kansas City metropolitan area, the ministry was established to lead and provide the Holy Spirit's provision, helping believers Press Pause on destructive thought patterns and allowing the Holy Spirit to bring truth, healing, and lasting freedom. All honor and praise belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every good and perfect gift comes (James 1:17), and to Him alone is glory, honor, and praise!
Pause Button Ministries was born out of that conviction: that the Word of God, prayerfully and courageously applied to the hidden places of a person's life, produces genuine freedom. Not because we are particularly gifted or trained, though we have sought to steward both faithfully. But, because Jesus Christ is who He says He is, and His Word does what He says it will do. Everything in this book - every chapter, every prayer, every footnote - exists because that conviction has been tested in real lives, including our own, and found true. This is not a theory. This is our testimony.
Pause Button Ministries Vision Statement
To the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, this ministry exists to encourage believers to love God with all their heart, to love their neighbor as themselves, and to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) - sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with all people. In obedience to His calling, we come alongside believers to help them realize the full potential God intended for them, deepen their bond with Him, and equip them to stand firm in the spiritual battles (Ephesians 6:10-20) that challenge us daily.
Pause Button Ministries
Mission Statement
The Lord Jesus Christ has commissioned this ministry to help His people draw closer to God. Our calling is to reveal that the enemy every believer confronts is not themselves, their loved ones, their coworkers, or their neighbors - but rather "spiritual forces in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:10-20), and "taking our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). All authority to carry out this work belongs to Jesus Christ alone, and it is to His name that every victory belongs.
