The myriad of ways that the individuals in this collection of stories discover how we learn what we learn, sometimes occurs during a random hour at a small diner. At other times it's reconnecting with a relative not seen in many years, or a small child's experience during World War II. It can be mourning the passing of a family member. It may be knowing when to decide that family should no longer be enabled with their lifestyles, or the choices and maturity with the swift coming of age. Also, disregarding social norms and acceptable behavior. And discovering one's perspicacity in community. These stories and plays present us with individuals and their choices as they discover insight for learning what they learn when they are presented with events as their lives unfold in the arc of time. Some circumstances are of their own making while other events are thrust upon them. Choices are at the forefront of their success or failure.
