Through the reading of my story, I hope you will find comfort, guidance, and an understanding of the journey you will be undertaking. Everyone needs to know what Alzheimer's disease is. It is so much more than just forgetting where you put your keys or forgetting someone's name. It's not just normal aging. The diagnosis of this disease is a death sentence. The world needs to become more aware of this horrible illness and what it encompasses.
