Working at the tenuous thresholds of writing and translation, Joris navigates the seismic ebb and tide of languages' winding relations in wide constellations of intersecting streams. A translingual writer, Joris cares for and nurtures, nourishes and tends to those precarious word-worlds surrounding us on all sides, which are conditioned by a constant and ongoing translingual flux: the crisscrossing languages that flicker before our ears if only we are listening for them.
