The gems are a treasured secret the tribe desperately wants to protect. But Ion's father has been captured by Povidone, along with the majority of the Zallmanians, and it is up to Ion to save them. First, he must bring together the other tribes of Idelwild to confront their most powerful enemy, and together with his best friend, Beefy-and with the help of some of the strange creatures of the Idelwild region-Ion finds himself on the journey of a lifetime.
