Jazz never stood a chance once the tragedy of her father's sudden death struck when she was a child in the 1970s. Her mother was quick to remarry, and Jazz became his victim. With the help of a neighbour who had witnessed him entering her bedroom at night, the two planned Jazz's escape. While on the run, Jazz met her first love and followed him to his apartment in Toronto, where she discovered he was a drug dealer and he sold to local pimps and working girls, which is how she met Shelly. It wasn't long before tragedy struck again, and Jazz witnessed a murder. Needing to run again, Jazz sought out the help of Shelly, but with no money, Jazz would have to work the streets until the two of them could save enough money to run. While Shelly was known to be armed and was respected on her corner, that didn't keep Jazz safe from Johns. Sadly, tragedy struck again, and this time Jazz pulled the trigger, with Shelly nowhere to be found. Jazz was on the run and fled the city of Toronto with the murder weapon and landed in a motel in Mississauga. Jazz decided to leave the street corners and take up dancing in strip clubs, where she met Butch, a biker from Quebec. Now in his world, she thought her life was finally on track, engaged, and the promise of a family, and she had made close friends for the first time. Jazz seemed to be living her best life until one evening, there was a knock at the door and the news of a shootout. Again, Jazz was helpless alone and on the run. Jazz left Quebec, travelled back to Mississauga, Ontario, and ended up at that motel again, feeling defeated. Taking on a booking agent, Jazz started travelling from city to city, where she met a young girl named Ally, who clearly had a story of her own. The two then met a dancer named Tamara and found Ally's missing friend, Mish. It wasn't long before the four went on a spree in the name of revenge. Four women, four stories, and a lot of bodies that can't be explained. Unfortunately, after years of building their lives together and thinking they would never be held accountable, a knock on Ally's door brought the police and Jazz and Ally ended up in the back of a cop car. Once questioned, they were free to go for now. Tensions ran high between the four women, and the blame game began. Jazz and Mish were on opposite sides, with Ally and Tamara in the middle, but it was the stabbing in the doorway that no one saw coming. One arrest, one fighting for her life, and whose side will the other two be on?
