American psychologist Carl Rogers (1902-1987) notes that meaningful learning participation within the human paradigm is only effective in the social context.


Meaningful learning


Meaningful learning is defined as learning in which a person in the process of acquiring new knowledge is able to relate new information to previous knowledge and experiences. In meaningful learning, in this sense, the person can rearrange and modify their knowledge based on the new information they receive.
