Who are you when the mask comes off?
Anna has everything she is supposed to want: a successful career, a downtown apartment, and friends to share wine with. Then one cold November morning she looks in the mirror and no longer recognizes the woman looking back.
Lost From Within follows Anna as she walks away from her life, from a coastal motel to a remote town called Silence. She learns that distance cannot quiet what she carries inside. Along the way, conversations with strangers, a box of unopened letters, and a ghost from her past force her to ask the questions she has avoided for years. Who was she before she tried to please everyone? What does she want for herself? What has she never forgiven, in others and in herself?
Part novel, part spiritual journey, this story is for anyone who has smiled when they wanted to scream, played a role until they forgot the real self, or run from pain only to find it waiting at the next stop. Each chapter pairs Scripture (KJV) that illuminates Anna's struggle. Quietly and honestly, it shows that peace is not found by escaping the storm but by facing it, and that the self you thought you lost may be waiting to be found.
If you're lost, if you're tired of pretending, or if you're ready to stop running, Anna's story is for you.
