They were friends-just friends. Now they're something else entirely.
Jason and Maggie are the best of friends. Friends since college, they've stood by each other through tragic loss and during battles with cancer. In many ways, they've grown up together, from college through their twenties. Then, one night after too much tequila, everything changes. As the two struggle to regain the friendship they each depend on, Jason battles his own demons, issues he's avoided over the years by using his friendship as a crutch. His inability to process those issues reveals the toxic nature of their relationship, forcing Maggie to put herself first. Lost on the Way is the love story between two people who love each deeply, but who find they need to take a step back before they can take a step forward.
The fourth book in the West Side Series, Lost on the Way is a standalone love story. The series can be read in any order.
"Finally a romance with complicated characters- with really complicated relationships- that recognize their toxic traits and WORK to get better.
This book- was so good. It was so refreshing to see people work through their issues and come out on the other side."
