Don dedicated his life to uncovering why the men from Santos kept disappearing. The Elders offered no answers, and so he spent countless days in the bibliothèque, pouring over old manuscripts and firsthand accounts...stories from men who had watched their friends vanish in an instant, or who simply never saw them again. Frustration grew, but so did his certainty that he was close. Then one day, a strange tale appeared on his desk...a child's story about flying reindeer. And then...everything went black.
Juniper was the keeper of the archives. She understood what it meant when new men suddenly appeared in town, but the truth was not hers to share...at least, not with most people. Only her best friend knew part of it, bound as they were to the strange "magic" of the North Pole. Even so, Juniper carried secrets too heavy to hold forever, secrets she hadn't told anyone. Until HE arrived. His presence set events in motion that would bring those hidden truths into the light...at least for those who needed to know.
