Hello. I am Amaya and this book is about my friendship bear that helps me with my Autism.
First let me tell you about myself:
I am 12 years old and have Autism, I struggle with the world around me. I am home schooled as I couldn't cope with the school environment. I have an assistance dog named Boo and a teddy bear called Elsa who is my best friend.
I have set up a business making and selling Autism/Neurodiverse teddies that are custom made and people with Autism can relate to them. I sell them on my website myfriendshipbear.com and on Facebook under my friendship bear and adventure of Boo. A percentage of the profit from each bear sale goes to Caudwell Children Centre to help children and families with Autism.
I wanted to make this book to show everyone what my friendship bear means to people and how they can go on exciting adventures with you.
This is my tenth book that has been published. The others are the adventures of Boo where my assistance dog goes on adventures to learn about different animals and how we can help them.
I love the work Caudwell Children Centre do to help children with Autism and their families. I will be donating 10% of the sale off this book to them.
