Dave Taylor was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but the family moved to Southern California within a year. He has remained in Southern California, along with wife, Jacqueline, having been married Fifty plus years.

Now retired, during the Christmas season, he plays a jolly old elf in a red suit. In his spare time, he captures different scenarios into storybook form, having already published his first book, Faces from the Past.

When not sitting behind a computer, he enjoys spending time with his family, which consists of his wife, two sons and their wives, and six grandkids. Outside his immediate family, he has spent twenty-plus years researching his family roots. So far, most of his past generations had migrated from Ireland and Scotland.
