Textile is the largest industry in Pakistan and world's second largest industry. It is the backbone of Pakistan's economy. But during last couple of years it is facing downfall and textile exports are declining. In this research paper I tried to explore all the reasons which are behind this downfall. There is comparison of different textile commodities export from fiber to fabric. Brief introduction of different textile segments like spinning, weaving, processing and garments industry is given. Survey is conducted from fifty leading textile exporters. The survey results are analyzed theoretically and statistically. Through this survey I explored all the variables involved in this downfall. Then I calculated %age share of each variable. At the end of this research work I have given recommendations to overcome this problem. This book is quite useful for textile professionals, students and owners of textile industry and any other who has interest in textiles.
