The Works of Giuseppe Antonio Brescianello (1690-1758) are inspired by a melodic fantasy rich in grace and lightness, associated with a lively rhythmic dynamism that makes these pieces a wonderful example of clarity and musical simplicity.
The structure of the compositions recalls the accompanied melody of the galant style of the era, and the development of the melodic phrasing seems to be linked to the evolution of the 18th-century theory of affections.
What emerges from listening to these compositions is the intention to express oneself by communicating feelings and moods, a music that laughs, cries, moves, a music that speaks through sounds.
The publication of Brescianello's Partita VII e VIII arises from the desire to share my study of these wonderful pieces of music.
All the movements are accompanied by a coherent and in-depth fingering in accordance with the ornaments, articulation, and dynamics used at the time.
In almost all the movements, there is also a section dedicated to ornaments; the latter are developed with a fingering that takes into account both the style of the era and the technical possibilities and opportunities provided by modern musical instruments.

Le Partite di Giuseppe Antonio Brescianello (1690 - 1758) sono ispirate da una fantasia melodica ricca di grazia e leggerezza associata ad un vivace dinamismo ritmico che fanno di questi brani un mirabile esempio di chiarezza e semplicità musicale.
La struttura dei brani richiama la melodia accompagnata dello stile galante dell'epoca e lo sviluppo del fraseggio melodico sembra legarsi all'evoluzione del XVIII secolo della teoria degli affetti;
Ciò che traspare all'ascolto di queste composizioni è l'intento di esprimersi comunicando sentimenti e stati d'animo, una musica che ride, piange si commuove, una musica che parla attraverso i suoni.
La presente pubblicazione della Partita VII e VIII di Brescianello nasce dal desiderio di condividere il mio studio su queste mirabili pagine di musica.
Tutti i movimenti sono corredati da una coerente ed approfondita diteggiatura in accordo con gli abbellimenti, con l'articolazione e con le dinamiche in uso all'epoca.
In quasi tutti i movimenti è inoltre disponibile una sezione dedicata agli abbellimenti; questi ultimi sviluppati con una diteggiatura che tenga in conto sia lo stile dell'epoca che le possibilità ed opportunità tecniche oggi fornite dagli strumenti musicali moderni.
