In their latest adventure, Pip the bat begins to feel sad and left out. His friends, Humm and Luna the moth, see his sadness and devise a gentle and clever plan. Together, they explore the garden, translating colors into sensations Pip can understand: the "cool, calm white" of a moonflower's velvety texture and sweet scent, the "warm red" of a spicy night-stock's perfume, and the "soft green" of cool moss under his feet.
