The alien Scorpio escaped the violence of his home planet-but the vengeful Hunters were fast on his trail, Fleeing medieval France, Scorpio and his earthling friend Leah jump through time to Elizabethan London, only to be thrust into a perilous world of intrigue and sorcery.
As they search for clues to the secret of the glowing orb that carried them to England, they enlist the help of Queen Elizabeth's astrologer. Then Leah is drawn into the dark and seamy streets of London and Scorpio is swept away by the dazzling deceptions of Queen Elizabeth's court. The enigma of the orb is nearly solved-until the unthinkable happens.
