Ranger Iguana delivers a powerful reckoning in "Seventh Son: To Survive." With a scotch in hand and a flood of unfiltered memories, Ranger Iguana lays bare a life shaped by a fractured childhood, hardened by military service, and redeemed through raw self-examination. From the shadows of an abusive father's tyranny to the camaraderie of U.S. Army Ranger brotherhood, he exposes the scars, the shame, and the hard-won lessons that define his journey.
Written with sharp wit, brutal honesty, and moments of heartbreaking humor, this memoir reflects on the darkness of family, the ethics of survival, and the light salvaged through love and resilience. It's a story about confronting demons-both inherited and self-made-owning the chaos, and piecing together a mosaic of shame, honor, love, and survival. If you're ready to face the truths we often hide, "Seventh Son" will be your mirror.
Ranger Iguana was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Mentor, an eastside suburb of Cleveland. In 1980, he joined the U.S. Army and became an Airborne Ranger, Pathfinder, and jungle expert.
