Sic et Non is a groundbreaking work of medieval logic and theology, composed by the French philosopher and theologian Peter Abelard in the twelfth century. The title, which means 'Yes and No' in Latin, reflects the dialectical method Abelard employed in his approach to theological questions. This new edition features a fresh translation by noted philosopher Jeffrey E. Brower, as well as an extensive introduction and commentary.
