Social demography examines how population important characteristics such as population are size, density, dispersion, sex distribution and age distribution that are influenced by social and cultural factors. Social demography is the study of a society's migration patterns, birth and death rates, also involves data, totals, and statistics. The book contains five units with most of basic concepts of Social Demography. Unit-I contains Basic concepts Social Demography - Fertility, Mortality, Migration.
