Navigating the turbulent music industry from the early to mid-2010s is no easy feat for anyone, let alone an openly queer canine. After all, success isn't always a straight upward trajectory. For this African wild dog, he has to steer through a series of mind-bending highs and extensive lows to make it. And in this industry, those who don't tread carefully will be eaten alive by the system.
If Darius is to have a shot at maneuvering through this industry with his soul intact, he'll need to rely on his inner circle of bandmates, friends, lovers, and supporters along the way. While no one person can ever completely define Darius, it's only through a collage of other people's experiences that a fuller picture of the wild dog's musical journey can be told.
