Thealtered environment has given rise to the need for a shared visionof the traditional ecological knowledge of the hunters andgatherers with the realities of oil and gas development. This bookwill examine the use of storytelling as an information managementsystem (STIMS) to bring together modern scientific informationsystems and traditional values. It is essentially a ritual beliefsystem that provides a world-view of the interpretation ofknowledge in re-framing organizational structures.
